Privacy Policy

We collect two kinds of information:

• What you send us — your name, email or phone number, project location, project details, message, inspiration links, and anything you include in a review or feedback note.
• What browsing generates — anonymized page-view analytics (pages visited, rough performance data) from our hosting provider. We don’t run advertising trackers, and the site works without marketing cookies.

We never ask for — and don’t want — Social Security numbers, financial account details, or health information through this site.

Every message submitted through the contact form is stored: it’s delivered to our inbox and a copy is kept in our internal submissions log so nothing gets lost and follow-ups have history. Each submission gets a reference number you see on the confirmation screen.

Stored messages may also be reviewed to help improve our site and services — for example, to see which questions come up often, where the form confuses people, or which pages lead to good conversations.

We use what you send us to:

• Respond to your inquiry and prepare for the first conversation.
• Keep an accurate record of what was asked and answered.
• Verify and publish reviews, when you submit one.
• Improve our site, our copy, and how we work.
• Meet legal or insurance record-keeping obligations, if they apply.

We don’t use your contact details for marketing lists, and we don’t send newsletters.

We never sell personal information. A small set of service providers process data on our behalf to run this site — website hosting, email delivery, and the internal system where submissions are logged. They handle it to provide those services and nothing else.

We’ll disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, and we’ll tell you when we’re allowed to.

We keep inquiry and project correspondence for as long as it’s useful for responding to you and for our business records — typically as long as a project relationship could reasonably follow from it. Ask us to delete your messages sooner and we will, unless a legal or insurance obligation requires keeping them.

The site is served over HTTPS, submissions are validated and rate-limited, and stored copies live in access-controlled systems. No internet system is perfectly secure, so we keep what we collect small and boring on purpose.

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@kcwbuilds.com and we’ll handle it within 30 days. If you asked us to stop contacting you, we will.

This site is for homeowners and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we’ll delete it.

External links — like the state contractor lookup — lead to sites with their own privacy practices. This policy covers ours only.

When our data practices change, we update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll say so plainly rather than hide it.
